Contracting opportunities - Freedom of Information (FOI) paralegals and law graduates

We are urgently seeking to engage multiple contractors to assist our government client work through a surge in workload in the Freedom of Information (FOI) space. Successful applicants may be required to conduct research; interpret legislation; prepare responses to FOI requests; liaise with other business areas within the agency; and draft a range of documents as required.

Roles are available in Canberra and Newcastle.

These roles would particularly suit law graduates or law students who can commit to full time work. However, we are also keen to hear from candidates without legal backgrounds who have an understanding of government decision-making, strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced and high volume work environment.

Short term (2-3 month) contracts are on offer initially, with the possibility of extension depending on our client’s business requirements. Full time availability is required for these roles.
